DPDPA (also known as the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023) is an act of the Parliament of the India to provide for the processing of the digital personal data in a manner that recognizes the right of an individual to protect their digital personal data.
This framework is a safeguard to sensitive information and ensures that organizations must comply with specific regulations when collecting, storing or processing the personal data. The DPDPA sets guidelines for obtaining valid consent, data usage limitations, and breach notification requirements. With the implementation of this act, individual now have the right to access, correct, transfer, or erase their personal information from any organization's database.
DSR form
The Data Subject Rights (DSR) form allows end users to request access to, correction of, or erasure of their personal data. CookieAdmin provides an automated mechanism to generate this form. To create the form, you only need to provide the name and contact information of the Data Protection Officer (DPO).
